How To Place An Order

Firstly, a few points to bear in mind...

1. Delivery only within Metropolitan France and Corsica.

2. Postage and packing (carriage) costs a flat-rate 10 euros for up to 150 euros of goods.

(i.e. 10 euros for 0.01 euros to 150.00 euros.

20 euros for 150.01 euros to 300.00 euros.

30 euros for 300.01 euros to 450.00 euros).

Orders Above 450 euros will not be accepted by the system.

3. You may pay by cheque, or using the secure Paypal site, by Credit card or Paypal

Cheques must be drawn in euros on a French bank. The cheque should be made out to "Aux Iles Britanniques"

Payment using your Paypal account is free - a fee is paid by Aux Iles Britanniques for the transaction.

You may be charged a fee by your card provider if you pay by credit card.

The payment method is confirmed at the end of the order process when you validate your shopping cart.

3.A. Payment by cheque requires that you prepare your order on our web-site and select "Payment by Cheque" when you validate your shopping cart.

An email is then sent to you with the detail of your order. We will then prepare your goods - everything will be sent once we have received your check.

Should we not receive payment within 5 working days we will assume that you have decided not to proceed.

3.B. Payment by Credit Card or Paypal. This is done on the secure site of Paypal. Aux Iles Britanniques does not have any access to your personal Credit Card details.

Once payment is confirmed by PayPal the goods will normally be dispatched within 24 hours.

4.How to find a product ?

4.A. Using the search motor on the left-hand side of each page, type the name of the product (Example: chutney, chocolate, beans) and press enter. The list of relevants items will then appear.

4.B. You then call up the product details by clicking on the article.

4.C. To add the item to your basket, firstly change the quantity (should you require more than one) and then click on the button "add to Cart" next to the product.

A shopping cart will be created including your product.

Repeat steps 3.A. to 3.C until you have completed your order.

At any time you may change the quantity desired in the "Quantity" box and clicking on "Update"

To delete an article click on "Remove".

To empty the Shopping Cart to start again click on "Empty".

At any time whilst searching the web-site you can return to your Cart by clicking

"Shopping Cart" at the top-right hand corner on each page.

5. Check-Out

5.A. When you have found all the products that you require, firstly, from the Shopping Cart page, select how you are paying, by cheque or by Credit Card / Paypal.

Secondly, having taken the time to read our Sales Conditions, click on the box "Yes, I accept the terms and conditions".

To read the Terms, click on "terms and conditions".

Now click on "Next Page".

6. You will be taken to a recapulative of your order. At this point the carriage cost will be added to your total.

You should now fill in your billing details - name and address, plus an email address. The lines in bold type are required fields.

An invoice, including Vat (which is included in our prices) is always dispatched with the goods.

Should you wish delivery to be made to another address you should also complete the Shipping Details.

Click Next Page

You will see a last detail of your order. Should you wish to change anything, use the "Back Button" of your web-browser.

7A. Payment by Cheque. If everything is correct press "Submit Order".

You should now print this page for your records. To complete the process, press "Next Page".

Your order is finished. The goods will be dispatched when payment is received.

7B. Payment by Paypal. If everything is correct press "Submit Order".

You will now be asked to click on the button "PayPal payment". By doing so, you will be sent to the PayPal website where you will be asked to log in if you have an account in order to pay using Paypal.

Should you not have an account, you may pay by giving your Credit Card details.

Once you have finished the payment process on the Paypal site you will be sent emails confirming the transaction.

The goods will be dispatched when we are notified by Paypal that payment has been made.
